How do you find my idea of buying a house in Macedonia, Greece?

I am fun of Olympus mount, the abode of the Greek gods, the most beautiful place on earth (look http://www.lonelyplanet.com/maps/europe/greece ). I need a house near Pella, Macedonia, Greece, the capital of the ancient Greek city state of Macedonia.
I visited Macedonia last year and this Greek land is fantastic.
The Greeks are the best in tourism and helped me so much.

Additional Details
Νο stupid answers, about "minorities of Slavs" please. This is not a political question. It is a simple question about services in this Greek land.

You were given excellent common sense advice by Jean-Michell that applies the world over. Take serious notice of what he said. Especially the very last paragraph.

For the Greek reality now. Buying a house in that large area of the country is an undertaking that needs on the spot search and possibly the help of a friend or relative if there is any such.
The legal issues are of importance, since news laws governing property owning, are under way at the moment. The best you can do is find a lawyer of your own choice that will examine all the proper deeds and papers. Local real estate agents affiliated with large foreign firms will be a much better choice to use instead of simple local one.

Even then you are not 100% sure you will not get a wrong bargain, but try to look on the positive side.

As for the language barrier it is indeed a problem but I will not consider it major, since a big number of Greeks speak English, But if you could speak a little Greek will help greatly.

I would make a location suggestion that may resemble Canada and that is the area of Soumela that has beautiful houses of alpine architecture as it gets a lot of snow during winter but still a very scenic environment.

As for the Slavs, pay not attention to them. They want Athens too.
